Off the A22, just west of Hailsham

We are located in a beautiful spot at the base of the East Sussex Downs, 15 minutes away from Eastbourne coast and beaches. Just off the A22, adjacent to Knockhatch Adventure Park and ski slope, the campsite is relaxingly peaceful.  The site is surrounded by Oak trees with a lake along one side and Knockhatch Adventure Park neighbouring the other side.

We also have the facility to allow fishing in the adjacent lake. Rod fishing licenses will be required and will need to been seen. We do not allow barbed hooks, we also do not allow keep nets and we require anybody fishing to have a hook removing mat. If you require a fishing pass, please let us know when you make your booking.

Male & Female toilets & showers on site, electric hookup washing up facility, clean fresh water, chemical porta potty waste disposal, waste water disposal, fishing (rod license required), beautiful country walks.

Getting here by car:

From north of Hailsham, e.g. Tunbridge Wells, London, East Grinstead

Journey towards and turn off onto the A22. After the Boship Roundabout on the A22, which has the Boship Hotel on the corner of the roundabout, follow the A22 towards Eastbourne. At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit into Knockhatch Adventure Park, then follow the signs to Knockhatch Caravan & Camp Site.

From Brighton

Follow the A27 towards Eastbourne. At Polegate, take the A27 north onto a large roundabout and take the A22 exit. Go straight over the next small roundabout. At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit into Knockhatch Adventure Park, then follow the signs to Knockhatch Caravan & Camp Site.

From Hastings

Follow the A27 towards Eastbourne. At the large Polegate roundabout, take the A22 exit. Go straight over the next small roundabout. At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit into Knockhatch Adventure Park, then follow the signs to Knockhatch Caravan & Camp Site.

If you are using a Sat Nav to find us, please either use the postcode BN27 3UA, which will direct you along the A22. This will take you to a roundabout where the Sat Nav will ask you to take the turning towards Hailsham. At this point, INSTEAD OF TAKING THIS EXIT, look for the Knockhatch Adventure Park or Knockhatch Caravan & Camp Site sign at this roundabout and take this exit instead.
